Questions parents ask
What age is it for?
Tennis players ages 8 and up. Teenagers and adults use it too.
How long is a lesson?
About five minutes. A quiz takes two or three minutes.
How many lessons a day?
One new lesson per world each day, and up to 3 new lessons a day in total. Each quiz opens the next day: sleeping on it helps kids remember. Combo plays and Origin books: one new each day, and they count toward the 3. Trivia World opens after Lesson 1 in 3 worlds. Lesson 1 of Tennis Thinking, Mental & Emotional and Tennis Studies is open from day one. After that, Tennis Thinking comes first: Mental & Emotional opens after Tennis Thinking Foundations (Lessons 1–8), and Tennis Studies after Mental & Emotional Foundations. Anything your child has finished can be replayed any time. Quizzes, replays, Daily 3, Expert Lab and Trivia never count toward the 3, and Ace's Film Room and Athletic Exercises have no daily limit.
How do streaks work?
A streak day is a day your child finishes something: a lesson, quiz, play, book, court challenge, Trivia run or Daily 3. Missed a day? Streak Freezes save it automatically (2 a month, plus 1 for every 7-day streak, up to 3 at a time), and a broken streak can be won back within 2 days.
We already have a coach.
Keep your coach. Your coach teaches the swing. FTL teaches the thinking between lessons. FTL was designed to work together with coaches and parents.
Is it safe? Do you collect data?
Yes. We only keep what the app needs to work: your player's first name or nickname and their tennis progress. Please use a nickname or first name only, never a full name. We never sell it or share it with advertisers. No ads, no chat, no strangers and no in-app purchases. You control the account, and you can see or delete your data at any time.
How does the free trial work?
Seven days, full access, no card. It starts when you add your player. If you don't pick a plan, it simply stops. Got a code from your coach? Add it any time (once per family) for 2 weeks free in total, counting the free week.
What does Lifetime mean?
You pay once and it never renews: no subscription. Your family keeps full access for as long as Foundation Tennis Lab is offered, including new lessons and features we add. Individual is $79 for 1 player, Family is $149 for up to 3 (USD, plus tax where it applies). On Individual and need more spots later? Upgrade to Family for $70, paid once.
What does 3 months mean?
You pay once: $24.99 for 1 player, or $49.99 for up to 3 (USD, plus tax where it applies). Your family gets full access for 3 months, then it ends by itself: nothing renews and there are no surprise charges. We email you 7 days before it ends. Buying another 3 months while yours still run adds them to the end. To go from Individual to Family, buy Family 3 months: it starts on the day you pay, and the Individual days left are not credited. A full refund if you ask within 10 days of your payment.
